I’m Behnaz, an AI/ML leader in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work on search, recommendation systems, LLMs, and agentic AI, focusing on both the systems and the strategy behind them.

I like problems that require both technical depth and organizational judgment. That means deciding what a problem actually needs (sometimes a new model, more often better data or infra), knowing what’s worth building (and what isn’t), when a metric is telling you the truth (and when it isn’t), helping engineers do their best work, and staying curious about where these systems are taking us.
